Personal Data Protection Disclosure Notice

As Aktif Matbaa Basım Yayın ve Amb. San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. (“Aktif Basım” or the “Company”), we attach great importance to the protection of personal data in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”).
This Disclosure Notice has been prepared to inform you about the procedures and principles regarding the processing of your personal data.

1. Data Controller

Pursuant to KVKK, your personal data are processed by Aktif Basım, acting as the data controller.

2. Processed Personal Data

The Company may process personal data including, but not limited to:
identity information, contact details, customer transaction data, request and complaint records, employee and job applicant personnel information, and website visit data such as log and traffic records.

3. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data are processed for the following purposes:

  • Providing products and services,

  • Managing customer relations and communication processes,

  • Conducting offer, contract, and business processes,

  • Managing human resources processes,

  • Fulfilling legal obligations,

  • Carrying out internal operations and corporate activities,

  • Ensuring information security.

4. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be transferred, in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK, for the purposes stated above, to:

  • Authorized public institutions and organizations,

  • Legal and financial advisors,

  • Business partners, suppliers, and service providers.

5. Method and Legal Basis of Personal Data Collection

Your personal data are collected through verbal, written, or electronic means via the Company’s website, e-mail, contracts, application forms, and similar channels.
Personal data are processed based on the legal grounds set forth in Articles 5 and 6 of KVKK, including:

  • Explicitly stipulated by law,

  • Necessity for the establishment or performance of a contract,

  • Fulfillment of legal obligations,

  • Legitimate interests of the data controller.

6. Rights of Data Subjects

Pursuant to Article 11 of KVKK, data subjects have the right to:

  • Learn whether personal data are processed,

  • Request information if personal data have been processed,

  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether data are used in accordance with such purpose,

  • Know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,

  • Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,

  • Request deletion or destruction of personal data in accordance with KVKK,

  • Request notification of these actions to third parties to whom data have been transferred,

  • Object to any result to their detriment arising from analysis by automated systems,

  • Claim compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing of personal data.

7. Application Method

You may submit your requests within the scope of KVKK in writing or through other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board to Aktif Basım. Your applications will be evaluated and finalized within the legal time limits.
